"The robotics industry is highly attractive for suppliers: drives and gearboxes, cabling, sensors and optics, and networking solutions are just some of the components that robot manufacturers are increasingly sourcing. For example, autonomous, driverless transport systems, so-called Automated Guided Vehicles, require extensive sensor and networking components to be used safely and efficiently in modern warehouses and production environments. Collaborative robots, which work directly alongside humans, must be able to react to environmental conditions in real time and therefore also require the integration of extensive hardware and software."
